Mr. Pena grew up in the Bay Area and Sacramento region. He graduated from UC Davis with a bachelor’s degree in organizational studies.
His hobbies include reading, listening to podcasts, and exercising.
Giving Back to the Community
Mr. Peña volunteered in libraries throughout his university education. In law school, he worked as a digital volunteer with the Smithsonian Museum, where he helped transcribe libraries of historic documents.
He is also a UC Davis Aggie Alumni Association member; the Association organizes events for fellow members and current undergraduate students local to Sacramento. These events help individuals network and expand their horizons, which can lead to a pursuit in law.
He is also a recurring donor to the UC Center Sacramento Program, which hosts dozens of self-starting undergraduate students in positions that expose them to public service and public interest work around the local area.
Mr. Peña additionally mentors law students who need advice or guidance whenever possible; this allows him to give back to those who helped him as a law student.
