Attorney Uriel Peña provides caring and competent legal representation to those who have sustained injuries in Sacramento due to the negligence, carelessness, recklessness, or deliberate misconduct of others.
Mr. Peña was drawn to the practice of law to help those who lack a voice and advocacy within the complex legal system. Adverse life situations where he experienced a similar lack of support fueled his professional goals and growth in providing conflict resolution for others.
He understands that personal injuries can comprise one of life’s worst events. Facing the aftermath of physical, emotional, and financial hardship from such injuries can be overwhelming. He takes great pride and satisfaction in helping clients navigate these challenging and critical situations.
Mr. Peña believes in providing client counsel while educating and guiding his clients through the complicated legal process. His representation combines diplomacy with courtesy; legal cases can generate conflict between parties. He aims to create positive outcomes in every interaction by using kindness to defuse animosity with the other side, always with an eye toward clarity and conflict resolution.
He listens to your story, your needs, and your goals. Taking the time to engage with you is crucial to building attorney-client trust, a key component to successful representation. This enables him to give you the best possible service, empowering you with the knowledge and counsel you need to make informed decisions as you work together to reach a satisfactory resolution.
At Del Rio & Caraway, you can expect Mr. Peña to go the extra mile to provide you with “full service.” He takes pride in going the extra two miles where needed.
Mr. Pena grew up in the Bay Area and Sacramento region. He graduated from UC Davis with a bachelor’s degree in organizational studies.
His hobbies include reading, listening to podcasts, and exercising.
Giving Back to the Community
Mr. Peña volunteered in libraries throughout his university education. In law school, he worked as a digital volunteer with the Smithsonian Museum, where he helped transcribe libraries of historic documents.
He is also a UC Davis Aggie Alumni Association member; the Association organizes events for fellow members and current undergraduate students local to Sacramento. These events help individuals network and expand their horizons, which can lead to a pursuit in law.
He is also a recurring donor to the UC Center Sacramento Program, which hosts dozens of self-starting undergraduate students in positions that expose them to public service and public interest work around the local area.
Mr. Peña additionally mentors law students who need advice or guidance whenever possible; this allows him to give back to those who helped him as a law student.
