Attorney Del Rio Encourages Sacramento Residents to Support Local Shriners Hospital for Children
At Del Rio & Caraway, P.C., we are passionate about giving back and supporting the work of impactful organizations in our community, like Shriners Hospitals for Children. Lead Attorney Dan Del Rio says, “We ask people during this season of giving that they donate to Shriners Hospitals for Children. It is such a unique facility full of such highly skilled professionals and we got to experience that firsthand.”
Attorney Del Rio and his family recently experienced a medical crisis involving their son, and they were referred to Shriners after doctors in other facilities were unable to identify the problem. Del Rio details his remarkable experience at Shriners, saying, “From the moment we arrived at Shriners we knew that it was going to be a different experience.” Shriners Hospitals for Children are geared primarily toward pediatric care and staff members have seen a variety of children’s health issues. As a result, Shriners doctors were able to quickly identify and compassionately treat Del Rio’s son.
“The entire facility and staff exist with children in mind, from having toys and playrooms available for all the kids, to giving our son his own superhero blanket to help him when he was scared, to taking all the kids out on the roof of Shriners to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July so no kid would miss out,” Del Rio says. “It is just a completely different type of facility.”
